JOHN BRIGHT STREET, BIRMINGHAM
The building occupied by Birmingham’s Turtle Bay restaurant on John Bright Street has changed hands in a £1.2m deal.
The property was sold by BPG (BPG) to a private client represented by Colliers International.
The deal comes after BPG disposed of the upper floors to EasyHotels.
Caribbean themed Turtle Bay occupies the lower ground floor of the site on a 20-year lease beginning in 2014. Nearby venues include Brew Dog, Cherry Red’s Café, The Stable and The Victoria.
John Tebbutt, managing director of BPG, said: “This is an asset we have owned since 2006 and completely rebuilt following a large fire. Following on from the successful disposal of the upper parts to EasyHotels, we are delighted to have concluded the final part of the site.”
